This thrilling new musical takes Green Day’s chart-topping 2005 punk rock album and brings it vibrantly to life. American Idiot follows a young anti-hero, Johnny, the self-proclaimed “Jesus of Suburbia”, and his two buddies, Will and Tunny, as they attempt to break out of their mind-numbing, aimless suburban existence.

In Michael Mayer's 2011 reimagining, a young smoker named David visits psychiatrist Dr. Bruckner to break his habit. The doctor finds himself drawn to David's past-life identity, a 1940s jazz singer named Melinda who emerges during their hypnosis sessions, while David begins falling for the psychiatrist.

In this Civil War sci-fi musical, the Union soldier Julian Munro and the brilliant mathematician Ada Lovelace transcend time to invent an omnipotent steam-powered brain. Blending American indie-folk music with dreams of invention, FUTURITY explores a world where utopia seems within reach.

Prior to founding CM Stage Productions, producer Christopher Maring spent nine years working for award-winning producers Tom Hulce and Ira Pittelman developing, producing, and managing new shows. Productions included the original Tony Award-winning production of Spring Awakening on Broadway, in London's West End, and on tour; the critically acclaimed Green Day's American Idiot at Berkeley Repertory Theatre, on Broadway, and on tour; the re-imagined revival of On A Clear Day You Can See Forever staring Harry Connick Jr. on Broadway; the Off-Broadway premiere of The Fortress of Solitude at the Public Theater; and the Off-Broadway premiere of 10 Million Miles, with music by Patty Griffin at the Atlantic Theater Company. Independently, Christopher helped develop and produce Futurity, a new musical by César Alvarez and Brooklyn-based band The Lisps (ART, Cambridge, MA and Walker Art Center, Minneapolis, MN) and was part of the early development of Hadestown, based on the album by singer-songwriter Anais Mitchell.
